Douglas S. Ainslie grew up in the Portland area and has a commitment
to giving back to the local community. He graduated from Portland
State University in 1979 with a BS in Biology. Dental school kept him
close to home as well; he earned his DMD at Oregon Health Sciences
University, graduating with honors in 1983. Orthodontic specialty
training took Dr. Ainslie to Northwestern University in Chicago.
Dr. Ainslie opened his Portland office in 1985. As his family grew, he
decided to build a second office near his West Linn home, where his
hobbies include welding, woodworking, and spending time with wife
Rhande, daughter Cameron, and sons Bryce, Mitchyl and Gaige.
Dr. Ainslie's professional memberships include the American
Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists,
the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and
the Multnomah Dental Society.
